The MongoDB Developer Day in Brasília was a full-day, hands-on event designed for developers who want to learn how to build modern applications using MongoDB. Throughout the event, participants explored key concepts such as document data modeling, schema design patterns, and advanced querying techniques. The sessions were highly practical, allowing attendees to apply what they were learning in real time. We also introduced modern capabilities like search and other advanced MongoDB features, helping developers understand how to design scalable and flexible applications. The event brought together over 100 developers from the region, creating a strong environment for learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

By the end of the day, participants had the opportunity to validate their knowledge by earning skill badges, reinforcing the hands- on nature of the experience. MongoDB Developer Day is focused on empowering developers with practical skills, real-world patterns, and a deeper understanding of how to work with data in modern architectures.

Beyond the technical sessions, one of the most valuable outcomes of the event was the connections we built with the local community. We had the chance to engage with developers, understand their challenges, and see a strong interest in growing with MongoDB.

These conversations opened the door for new opportunities in the region, including potential MongoDB User Groups and future initiatives. This is just the beginning of expanding our presence and supporting the community in Brasília.
